Website Creation and SEO Tools

Anyone can build a website, as long as you are able to read and write.

You don't have to be some computer genius, however there is a lot you will have to learn as you go.

While a basic knowledge of html code will help you to understand how web pages work, you can create excellent pages - and websites - with no html knowledge at all. There is software like Microsoft's FrontPage or Dreamweaver, which are universally known and respected. These do, however, take quite a lot of time and work.

I prefer to use tools like ezSEO Website Builder, from Dr. Andy Williams, and XSitePro by Paul Smithson. These website building programs allow me to create a high-quality web site quickly using their built-in templates. And I can buy more templates as needed from various independent sources.

If you aren't ready to buy some software yet, you can always put up a free site on AOL, Yahoo or Tripod.com. They can afford to give you space because they make money by placing ads on your pages (just as I have Google Adsense Ads on these pages). If you write good content that attracts visitors, ads of this kind will make money from your visitors. You don't get it, your free host does.

But if you know your pages are getting plenty of traffic, hundreds or even thousands of visitors a day, then you should put up your own web site because you can then monetize your traffic and make some money yourself.
