Want More Traffic? Then Add More Reciprocal Links

Reciprocal links are proving to be one of the best ways you can get free traffic to your web site.
These two-way links between websites work very well because they help visitors to find you directly, and they also show the search engines that other websites think you're enough value for them to add a link.
The most important thing with reciprocal links is that you must pick sites with a theme that matches yours. Therefore if your site is about travel, then your reciprical links would be with airlines, hire car operators, travel insurance brokers and so on.
You'll get the most mileage from a link exchange with similar-themed sites like the example above. But some reciprocal links are better than none at all. And if you're brand new on the Internet, getting a few reciprocal links up quickly is the best way you can get found by the search engines.
Some years back there used to be hundreds of search engines; and there are still companies out there who will try to sell you a deal where you pay them money and they submit you to 'hundreds of search engines'.
This is a load of bull. There are only a handful of search engines worth worrying about, and Google is still the king. It's closely followed by MSN and Yahoo.com. More than 50 percent of my inbound traffic comes from Google. And MSN and Yahoo together make up most of the rest. The Web is always changing, and the stats differ between different websites of mine, but they still show that 99 percent of my traffic comes from these three major search engines.
Did you know that Google prefers to find new sites all by itself. How? By following links from the sites it already knows about.
So if you need more incoming links to your site, get started now by adding a reciprocal link here in Locki Biz's own link exchange, my Reciprocal Links Directory.
There are only two things you need to do to qualify for a link exchange: (a) link to this site first, and, (b) authenticate yourself with a valid email address. I promise not to share your email address with anyone.
