Internet Gurus

Cory Rudl

Cory Rudl, Internet Pioneer and Guru, died 2nd June 2005.

Cory Rudl began his Internet empire by writing small text advertisements to sell stuff over the Internet. He was 24 years old and dirt poor at the time, and worked from his one-room studio apartment. One of his first projects was a book about buying cars at the best possible price. It was called Car Secrets Revealed.

Cory would write two small ads, and keep close track of which one did better. When he made some sales, he would take that income and use it to buy more small advertisements and repeat the exercise. Each time he would get rid of the less successful of the two ads. He'd keep the better one, and he'd create an entirely new ad to test.

From that humble beginning ten years ago, Cory Rudl went on to build an Internet empire which earned more than $40,000,000 - that's 40 million US dollars - in on-line sales.

Cory became one of the world's most successful internet marketers. He developed many of the original affiliate concepts, and he was one of the first enterpreneurs to work out how to make an excellent living by selling online over the Internet.

Then on 2nd June 2005, at the ripe old age of just 34, Cory Rudl was killed in a racing accident at the California Raceway in Fontana, California. He loved race cars and racing and was being driven around the racetrack by a good friend, who was also killed.

Corey Rudl helped many realize their goal of financial independence, and he is already sorely missed by those of us in the internet marketing community.
